VETSTEPS is a Financial Advisor Apprenticeship program designed to build your new career from the ground up

VETSTEPS is a Financial Advisor Apprenticeship program designed to build your new career from the ground up

There's a reason your military career started with basic training. VETSTEPS starts with the basics and by the time you have successfully completed the program, you will be a fully-licensed Financial Advisor with income from your own established practice that you have developed with the help of your mentor.

What's different about this program?

You hear a lot of talk about "veteran friendly" these days. And that's a good thing. We commend all employers who are making a conscious effort to help American veterans find jobs. We take it very seriously. VETSTEPS was specifically developed to incorporate the training, the tools and, most critically, the time needed to ensure a successful transition to civilian life as a Financial Advisor. VETSTEPS is open to anyone, but we developed the program based on Department of Labor and Veterans Administration requirement so that you could use your Post 9/11 GI Bill benefits while you learn.

VETSTEPS does NOT ENCUMBER your earned VA education benefits

Your earned VA benefits are not required for tuition or any fees related to training. As an Apprentice, your VETSTEPS earnings should cover the costs of all Industry associated required fees related to building your financial advisor business (i.e. technology, licenses, subscriptions, etc.). We train you for your gain. Your VA benefit check is sent directly to you for you to use as you see fit. This is our commitment to you as a United States Military Veteran.
